About Dr. Esther Cole
I am HCPC registered, BPS accredited and a professionally insured Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and private practice. I have worked in multi-disciplinary teams with clients with a range of mental and physical health, neurological conditions, challenging behaviour and cognitive problems, with very positive results since 2008 (qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013).
I tailor make all therapies to the person, child, young person or organisation’s needs and draw on the best available evidence. This could mean offering a combination of different therapies such as CBT, systemic and narrative approaches or integrating several therapeutic methods until we feel we are making progress.

How Lifespan Psychology Can Help You Manage Stress.
Stress Treatment and Support at Lifespan Psychology
In today’s fast-paced world, stress can feel like a constant companion. While some level of stress is a normal part of life, ongoing or overwhelming stress can begin to affect your mood, sleep, physical health, and relationships. At Lifespan Psychology, we offer professional, compassionate stress treatment to help you regain balance, build resilience, and feel more in control.
Understanding Stress
Stress is your body’s natural response to pressure or perceived threats. It can be caused by anything from work deadlines and financial worries to family issues or health challenges. While short-term stress can sometimes help you stay focused and alert, chronic stress can lead to:
-
Anxiety or irritability
-
Difficulty sleeping or fatigue
-
Headaches or muscle tension
-
Trouble concentrating
-
Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally drained
Left untreated, stress can contribute to more serious mental and physical health problems. That’s why early support and stress reduction techniques can make a meaningful difference.
