About Dr. Esther Cole
I am HCPC registered, BPS accredited and a professionally insured Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and private practice. I have worked in multi-disciplinary teams with clients with a range of mental and physical health, neurological conditions, challenging behaviour and cognitive problems, with very positive results since 2008 (qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013).
I tailor make all therapies to the person, child, young person or organisation’s needs and draw on the best available evidence. This could mean offering a combination of different therapies such as CBT, systemic and narrative approaches or integrating several therapeutic methods until we feel we are making progress.

Assessment:
Contact us to arrange a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your therapy requirements. We can then arrange an initial meeting where we will discuss what concerns you, or your child, and how you would like your therapist to help you. An assessment is usually carried out over two sessions. The first session focuses on the here and now and the second on your personal and family history. We can book in some therapy sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Working Together:
The most important aspect of our work is developing a positive, rewarding therapeutic relationship with you and any family members. There is nothing more satisfying than observing the progress adults and young people can make, when they are able to draw on their strengths and abilities, to overcome their difficulties. We truly believe that everyone is capable, with support, to overcome and manage obstacles in life. We provide empowerment, psychological techniques and a shared understanding so we can tackle the process together.
