Help survivors in dire need in Turkey and Syria.
A series of devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria have killed over 20,000 and injured many more. Now people are without shelter in freezing winter conditions, and desperately need blankets, emergency shelter, food and clean water.
The first deadly earthquake struck while people were asleep. Thousands of buildings, including hospitals and schools, have collapsed. People are still desperately searching through the rubble for survivors.
In the UK, the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) has launched an appeal to help those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. The UK government will match the first £5m of public donations. Please contribute if you can:
