We can easily feel powerless and pessimistic about the horrors unfolding daily in the news, and the inconsistent, inadequate political responses. But there are also people working incredibly bravely for humanitarianism, human rights and peace.
The suffering of children is not acceptable anywhere in the world, and we must do all we can to protect their lives.
