Dr Sophie Doswell of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust has written a blogpost to mark Disability History Month 2024, whose theme is 'Disability, Livelihood and Employment'.

She notes how much there is still to do to ensure equal employment opportunities for the one in four working age adults who are disabled, and to tackle underemployment among disabled people.

Only 6% of Clinical Psychologists consider themselves to have a disability, but Dr Doswell cites two clinical psychologists - Dr Esther Cole and Dr Clair Pollard - who have shared their insights into what it's like to work with a disability.
