About Dr. Esther Cole
I am HCPC registered, BPS accredited and a professionally insured Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and private practice. I have worked in multi-disciplinary teams with clients with a range of mental and physical health, neurological conditions, challenging behaviour and cognitive problems, with very positive results since 2008 (qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013).
I tailor make all therapies to the person, child, young person or organisation’s needs and draw on the best available evidence. This could mean offering a combination of different therapies such as CBT, systemic and narrative approaches or integrating several therapeutic methods until we feel we are making progress.

Dr Marvin Iroegbu
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Marvin Iroegbu is a Clinical Psychologist who works with people from a range of diverse backgrounds. His person-centred and personable style allows him to work effectively with individuals with complex psychological and interpersonal difficulties. Marvin has worked with clients with significant experiences of trauma. He uses an integrative and trauma-informed approach to help people to make sense of their difficulties, and find a way to live a healthier and more meaningful life.
Marvin has worked with clients who experience a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress; and with clients who find it difficult to manage interpersonal relationships. Marvin draws on his knowledge and experience of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to tailor therapeutic interventions to the needs of the client.
In his highly specialist role, Marvin provides consultation to probation services around how to work with offenders with trauma and severe and enduring mental health difficulties. He completes extensive psychology assessments to assist Personality Disordered offenders and helps to create bespoke treatment plans. His person-centred approach focuses not just on the individual, but the system, and the challenges of social inequality impacting on the person’s wellbeing.
“Marvin was really easy to talk to, he was calm and friendly and helped to create a safe place for me to explore some really challenging things. Marvin had a knack for really hearing what I was saying; he was flexible and always prioritised what I wanted to get out of the sessions. Before working with Marvin I had been avoiding talking about my child's birth for a long time. I had worked with other therapists and still managed to avoid talking about it. Yet, with Marvin, I felt safe enough to explore what for me was a very traumatic experience: I was able to talk about the experience and come to think and feel differently about it. I no longer feel as impacted emotionally by what I went through and I feel freer to live in the present and enjoy time with my child. I can't speak highly enough of Marvin, in terms of his ability to connect with people with empathy and compassion, and also his skill at delivering EMDR virtually across a 7 hour time difference! With endless gratitude to you, Marvin, thank you!”
