About Dr. Esther Cole
I am HCPC registered, BPS accredited and a professionally insured Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and private practice. I have worked in multi-disciplinary teams with clients with a range of mental and physical health, neurological conditions, challenging behaviour and cognitive problems, with very positive results since 2008 (qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013).
I tailor make all therapies to the person, child, young person or organisation’s needs and draw on the best available evidence. This could mean offering a combination of different therapies such as CBT, systemic and narrative approaches or integrating several therapeutic methods until we feel we are making progress.

Dr Lauren Burke
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Lauren Burke is a Clinical Psychologist who has extensive experience in the NHS working with adults, children and families and those experiencing a range of difficulties. Drawing upon evidence-based therapies, including CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy and narrative therapy, Lauren uses an integrative approach to ensure that sessions are tailored to your needs.
For Lauren, providing a non-judgemental space and working collaboratively are essential aspects of therapy that allow people to make sense of their difficulties in a safe way, as well as bring awareness to their own skills, values, and knowledge that can bring about positive change. Lauren also believes that therapy can be a unique space to explore and learn new skills that can help with coping with difficulties in the present, but also in the future.
Lauren currently works in the NHS with people who have physical health difficulties and has a special interest in supporting people who are adjusting to living with a physical health condition, want to overcome feelings of loss, anger, and anxiety, or explore the impact of physical health on identity. Lauren is a published author in research areas such as the psychological impact of physical health conditions, as well as male mental health.
